India Army Chief arrives in Sri Lanka


Indian Army Chief of Staff General Manoj Mukund Naravane arrived in Sri Lanka today on a five-day long goodwill visit, the Genocidal Sri Lankan Army said.

Gen. Naravane together with a five-member delegation, including his spouse arrived at the invitation of his Sri Lankan counterpart Chief of Defence StaffCommander of the Army and accused war criminal General Shavendra Silva.

During his stay, Gen. Naravane is scheduled meet accused war criminals President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, State Minister of National Security, Secretary to the Ministry of Defence, Gen. Kamal Gunaratne, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army, Gen. Shavendra Silva, Commanders of the Navy and Air Force.
