Archbishop Malcolm Ranjith has accused the rulers who came to claim the protection of Sri Lanka of destroying the country.
The archbishop also said that it has become problematic as to what Sri Lanka is heading towards, who rules the country, and who makes the decisions.
Selling all of the country’s resources is not development. Government stop leading the country to the brink of destruction.
“It will be easier to sell the country’s resources. However, there is an honor to this country. It is the responsibility of all political parties to protect that.
When we objected to the M.C.C. agreement, it was supported by those in the current government. But today, this government is doing something more dangerous than the MCC. All the changes that people expected were in vain, ” said Archbishop Malcolm Ranjith.
