The genocidal Sri Lankan government plans to create a new long visa category to attract foreign travellers.
Digital travellers often stay in restaurants, public libraries and other such venues and provide their services online through devices with Internet access.
The proposal made by Lankan Tourism Minister has said the availability of high-speed internet connections for communication, long term visas, affordable accommodation, tax exemption for earnings etc., are the main factors to attract the foreigners, Daily Mirror reported.
Sri Lanka remains a dangerous place for Tamil people. In a recent statement, International Truth and Justice Project say that twelve years after the civil war in Sri Lanka ended, Tamils continue to be abducted in white vans and interrogated in blood-stained torture chambers by both police and army.
