Tamil National Alliance is ready to face any elections in North and Eastern provinces of Sri Lanka and vowed that the Alliance would acquire the provincial councils if elections happen, Alliance’s former MP Ariyanenthiran said.
While attending an event on sowing the Palm seeds, Ariyanenthiran said that the veracity of the government’s announcement on provincial council elections would only know after the budget session.
Ariyanenthiran has doubted that Basil Rajapaksa provincial elections assurance as an attempt to grab the support of all parties for the budget, which will be tabled in coming November.
