A countrywide curfew will be imposed daily from Monday 10 pm to 4 am, to curb the growing Covid-19 cases in Sri Lanka.
Sri Lankan Army Commander and Head of the National Operations Centre for the Prevention of Covid-19, War Criminal General Shavendra Silva, said the curfew would be imposed from 10 PM till 4 AM daily to prevent people from leaving their homes.
He further said that the restrictions would not apply to the essential services.
The number of active cases in Sri Lanka is currently 354,968. The total death toll reached 6,096.
