Sri Lankan Tamil MP urges Tamil Nadu CM to release refugees in Special Camp

Selvam Adaikalanathan, a member of the Sri Lankan Parliament, has sent an urgent letter to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin regarding the welfare of Sri Lankan Tamil refugees living in refugee camps in Tamil Nadu and demanding the release of Tamil refugees kept in a special camp in Trichy.

In a letter to Chief Minister M K Stalin, he urges to take the solution to the problems Sri Lankan Tamil refugees face during the time of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

A few family leaders of these families are also languishing in a special prison in Trichy. They are looking forward to reuniting with their family members, he further said in the letter.
