Sources from Mullaitivu have said that the Sri Lankan police are collecting the details of residents residing in police units of the Mullaitivu district, Northern Province.
Based on this, a form has been issued today to the residents residing in Mullivaikal East Grama Niladhari Division to obtain the details of the residents and stayers living in that police division.
The police have ordered to hand over the forms in an hour. The sources said that the police had initiated the operation today through an inhabitant of the village.
The heading of the form has denotes that the details collected under the order made according to Section 76 of the Police Ordinance No. 16 of 1865.
