India, Sri Lanka joint military exercise: Indian Army Chief to arrive in SL 

Indian Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane to arrive in Sri Lanka on October 12 for a five-day official visit, the Sri Lankan Army said.

Twelve-day mega military exercise ‘Mitra Shakti’ between the Indian Army and the genocidal Sri Lanka Army began on October 4th at Combat Training School, Ampara in Sri Lanka.

Daily Mirror reported that General Naravane is scheduled to observe the 8th consecutive iteration of the joint Exercise ‘Mitra Shakti’ between Sri Lanka and India during the visit.

The eighth edition of the ‘Mitra Shakti’ exercise from October 4 to 15 got underway with the participation of an all arms contingent of 120 Indian Army personnel, headed by Colonel Prakash Kumar, the Sri Lankan Army said
