Gotabaya postpones meeting with Tamil National Alliance

The first-ever meeting between Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Tamil National Alliance has postponed indefinitely.

“We were informed that the meeting fixed for today has been postponed. No new date was informed to us so far,” a spokesperson of TNA and a Member of Parliament M A Sumanthiran told.

The TNA sent its proposals for Constitutional Reform to the Expert Committee appointed by the President last December and thereafter met the Committee at their invitation in February this year, as reported in Daily Mirror.
