It has been reported that Buddhist monks have forcefully placed a Buddhist statue in Paralai Murugan temple yesterday (16), which is one of the historical Murugan temples in Jaffna District.
The temple authorities have decided not to allow the recitation of Buddha statues in the Murugan Temple. This decision was taken in a joint discussion between the temple trustees and the temple devotees.
