The Tamils are calling Clifford Chance LLP, to drop Sri Lanka as client or at least carry out a comprehensive review of Sri Lanka as required by the UN Global Compact framework in their appeal.

Sri Lanka has engaged Clifford Chance LLP, an international law firm to provide legal advice relating to the IMF bailout process. Clifford Chance is a signatory to the UN Global Compact framework which requires it to ensure that its actions or relationships do not lead to adverse human rights abuses in the society.
We have created an email campaign calling on Clifford Chance to drop Sri Lanka as client or at least carry out a comprehensive review of Sri Lanka as required by the UN Global Compact framework.
