Tamil community remembers Sencholai massacre amid threats from Sri Lankan forces

The genocidal Sri Lankan Forces questioned and turned back the Tamil people who visited Sencholai to remember the 15th anniversary of the massacre.

In 2004, Sri Lankan air forces bombed Sencholai children’s home in which 54 schoolgirls and seven staff were killed.

The army, police, and intelligence were actively involved in restricting the people entering Vallikunnam Edakkattu road lead to Sencholai children’s home.

Former Tamil parliamentarian M K Sivajilingam paid tributes to the victims at Valvettithurai amid threats from Sri Lankan security forces.

Former North provincial council member Durairasa Ravikaran paid tributes to the killed children at Mullaitivu.

Tamil National People’s Front remembers the victims in the head office of the party at Jaffna.
