The Mullaitivu Magistrate’s Court has issued an order banning former Northern Provincial Council member Durairasa Ravikaran and a few other Tamil political activists to remember the 34th death anniversary of Thiyagatheepam Thileepan.
The ban came after the Mullaitivu police filed an injunction with the court requesting to prohibits the Thileepan commemoration event.
Former Northern Provincial Council member M K Sivajilingam, Mullaitivu Missing Persons Association coordinator Mariyasuresh Eeswari, Former Northern Provincial Council member Antony Jeganathan are the other Tamil activists named in the court order.
