Sri Lanka reported 2,964 Covid-19 positive cases and 185 deaths on September 07th taking the total death toll to 10,689.
According to the Sri Lankan Government Information Department, 83 females and 102 males are among the deceased. A total of 140 people above 60 years of age are among the deceased.
In Trincomalee district, 28 people died of corona infection from September 1 to 6. In Vavuniya district, 45 people died of infection in first six days of September month.
