A five-member Tamil Progressive Alliance (TPA) delegation led by Member of Parliament Mano Ganeshan met the Indian High Commissioner Gopal Baglay yesterday(6 July).
“Led Tamil Progressive Alliance delegation to fruitful discussion on 13A, 16A and plantation housing with Indian HC,” Mano Ganesan tweeted.
Indian High Commissioner Gopal Baglay reiterated India’s support for devolution in Sri Lanka and early Provincial Council elections when he met with the delegation. The issues of the Indian Origin Tamil community of Sri Lanka also discussed.
TPA Members of Parliament Radha Krishnan, Udhaya Kumar, Velu Kumar, and TPA General Secretary Chandra Schaffer were present during the meeting.
