Sri Lankan State Minister of Transport Dilum Amunugama says that the government allowed to operate with certain limitations the public transport services between the provinces from August 1.
Since May, inter-province travel was banned as part of countrywide COVID-19 travel restrictions.
However, the travel restrictions was lifted in early July, while the inter-province travel ban remained unchanged.
