Sri Lanka extends islandwide Covid-19 lockdown till Oct. 1

The Sri Lankan Government has decided to extend the current lockdown until 4.00 am on October 01.  

The decision was taken at the Special Committee on COVID-19 Control meeting chaired by President and war criminal Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat today.

“Conditional #Lockdown will continue till (01/10). However, government essential services impacting the economy will be allowed to function. Conditions to be notified soon,” Sri Lankan Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella tweeted.
