Sri Lanka downgraded to ‘low-income country’

The Sri Lankan cabinet of Ministers has granted approval for the proposal to downgrade Sri Lanka’s status from a ‘middle-income country’ to a ‘low-income country’, the Cabinet Spokesman says.
