Sinhala settlers in Welioya (Sinhalese colony), Mullaitivu District of Northern Province have attempted to grab 138 acres of agricultural lands of Tamil people in Poomadukandal village, Mullaitivu. But the reports said that the Tamil villagers thwarted the illegal attempt by the settlers.
