Jaffna District schools are closed today due to heavy rains and floods, the Jaffna Government Agent decided to close all government schools in the district.
During the last 24 hours the Jaffna District has received rainfall more than 200mm therefore, many school children have been affected by floods.
Many paddy fields have also been affected due to the floods and extreme weather.
