Tamil Parliamentarian Selvam Adaikkalanathan has thanked the Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa for releasing 16 Tamil political prisoners.
At the same time, he has requested the SL President to release all Tamil political prisoners who are languishing in prisons for years.
He says that the release of these 16 political prisoners is a gift to the tears and waits of their parents and families.
