Relatives have a right to know what happened to their loved ones: Hanaa Singer

Hanaa Singer, Permanent Representative of the United Nations to Sri Lanka, has said that the families of the disappeared persons have a right to know what happened to their loved ones.

She was on a two-day visit to the North when she mentioned this on his Twitter page after meeting various parties.

The grief of the families of those who have been missing for more than 12 years remains unresolved. People have a right to know what happened to their relatives.

Therefore, the cooperation of the community is essential for the victims who are fighting for truth and justice, she added.
