More than 44 Tamil journalists who have been abducted, disappeared and murdered in the North and East in the past by Sri Lankan government forces and para military Tamil groups.
Vishwalingam Vishvachandran, Treasurer of the Mullaitivu Media Center and Independent Journalist, was the latest victim of Sri Lankan government forces atrocities. He was attacked by Sri Lankan Army while taking photo of ‘Mullivaikkal’ nameboard in the eastern part of Mullivaikkal on 27th of November.
People, journalyst and activists from Mullaitivu have protested yesterday (28) in front of the Bandara Vanniyan statue in Mullaitivu against Sri Lankan government human right violations.
