Mr Andrew Patrick has been appointed British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka in succession to Mrs Sarah Hulton OBE who will transfer to another Diplomatic Service appointment. Mr Patrick will take up his appointment in August 2023, the British government announced.
He previously worked in Myanmar, Serbia, Kosovo, Albania and Macedonia, also worked as a first secretary, United Kingdom Joint Delegation to NATO.
