An Indian Army delegation has visited Sri Lanka to discuss bilateral defence cooperation between the two countries.
Amid Sri Lanka’s closeness with the Chinese government, the Indian government maintains a close relationship with the genocidal Sri Lankan government headed by accused war criminal Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
“High Commissioner (Gopal Baglay) received the delegation visiting Sri Lanka to discuss with their Sri Lankan counterparts the roadmap for bilateral defence cooperation, including Mitra Shakthi – the biggest bilateral military exercise in the region,” the Indian High Commission in Colombo tweeted.
