Indian Foreign Secretary Harsh V Shringla met the Tamil political parties leaders from Tamil National Alliance, Tamil Progressive Alliance, Ceylon Workers’ Congress.
“Foreign Secretary @harshvshringla had separate and productive meetings with delegations from TNA, TPA and CWC,” the Indian High Commission tweeted.
He emphasized India’s commitment to protecting the rights of Tamils through full implementation of the 13th amendment, early convening of Provincial Council elections, achieving reconciliation and establishing connectivity to India,” Indian HC said in the following tweet.
Harsh V Shringla, who is on a four-day visit to Sri Lanka, earlier met Sri Lankan Prime Minister and Sri Lanka’s Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa.
