Ninety six-packs of heroin, a highly addictive drug, was recovered from a prison guard at Mahara Prison, Western Province of Sri Lanka.
Reports says that the drugs recovered during a search at the prison entrance.
Prisons spokesman Chandana Ekanayake said the suspect was handed over to the police for further action.
