It has been reported that there will be a drastic change in Colombo politics in the coming days and that many government ministers will join former Sri Lankan president Chandrika’s new coalition.
Chandrika Kumaranathunga presided over a memorial service for her father Bandaranaike in Colombo.
The event was attended by ousted Foreign Minister Susil Premajayantha, Foreign Minister Vidura Wickremanayake (and Member of Parliament) Anura Priyadharna Yapa.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that several ministers in the government may join Chandrika’s new political alliance.
