The conference aimed at addressing the ongoing structural genocide against the Tamil community and reflecting on the urgent need for accountability for past atrocities. Attended by political and civil activists from the Tamil Homeland and parliamentarians from the United Kingdom.
The event was organised by British Tamil Community Organisations and successfully taken place at House of Commons, Room no.10, Westminster Parliament, UK on Wednesday 14 June 2023 from 4.30pm to 7pm.
The event was chaired by Mr. Patrick Lewis, Human Rights Barrister.

Many issues were discussed, i.e., Continuing Systematic Structural Genocide against Tamils, Land grabbing, Building Buddhist Temples in Tamil people’s private lands, Arrest against Tamil Parliamentarian & Tamil activists also British Government to accept Sri Lankan Government is carrying out Genocide against Tamils and needs for UN supervised Referendum for Tamil Eelam.
