Batticaloa – BYD has continued its expansion in Sri Lanka with the opening of a new showroom in Batticaloa, bringing its range of new energy vehicles closer to customers in the Eastern Province.
The latest opening increases BYD’s showroom network in Sri Lanka to 10 locations, as the company continues to strengthen its presence in the country’s growing new energy vehicle market.
The expansion forms part of BYD’s strategy to enhance its nationwide sales and after-sales service network while meeting the rising demand for electric mobility across the island.
With increasing consumer interest in electric vehicles, Sri Lanka is emerging as one of BYD’s strongest markets in South Asia, reflecting the country’s growing shift towards sustainable transportation.
