Boycotting of Tamil language in government event continues in Sri Lanka

The Sri Lankan government has been continued its attitude of boycotting the Tamil language in government events.

This time, a cricket ground inaugurated by the accused war criminal and Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa in the Anuradhapura-Salyapura Gajaba Regiment excluded the Tamil language in the inauguration message.

Sri Lankan Parliamentarian Mano Ganesan expressed his concerns via Twitter. “Maybe a stadium! It could be a game! The first citizen (Gotabaya Rajapaksa) of Sri Lanka should follow the language policy of the constitution, “MP Mano Ganesan tweeted.
