Jaffna police stop students from entering the commemoration event for arson of Jaffna Public Library to be held at the Jaffna Library by the Jaffna Mayor.
Today marks the 40th anniversary of the burning of the Jaffna Public Library.
As the event was planned to be organized for the commemoration of the arson of the Jaffna Public Library today, the police monitoring the library complex to stop the students from entering it in the face of covid-19 travel restriction.
