Tamil farmers point out that their agricultural lands have been taken to bury the bodies of the victims of the coronavirus in the village of Vattamadu in the Kinniya Divisional Secretariat area.
“We have been cultivating more than ten acres of this land for more than 15 years. To bury the bodies of those who died by of coronavirus, our land is taken forcibly. This is agricultural land and they have confiscated the land without informing us about it in advance,” the land owner alleged.
He also demanded that the relevant authorities pay attention to this and reclaim their land.
