Former Sri Lankan skipper Arjuna Ranatunga has threatened to reveal details about individuals allegedly involved in a plot with India that led to the decline of cricket in Sri Lanka.
Ranatunga made these remarks during the opening ceremony of the Lawyers Cricket World Cup at the P. Saravanamuttu International Cricket Stadium in Colombo.
The tournament, featuring teams from 10 Commonwealth countries, will be held in Sri Lanka from 29 December to 06 January.
Ranatunga’s comments have raised anticipation within the cricket community about the potential revelations.
